I took Lizzie's advice and went to ACE hardware.

Even with help, the parts were a little difficult to find.

Here are the details to make it a little easier.

In the lamp parts drawer

Headless Reducer 3/8 M x 1/8 F.  $1.80

Reducer 1/4 F x 1/8 M. $.80
