If you want to use the tablet in its current condition, I found an [http://www.howtogeek.com/164783/how-to-connect-mice-keyboards-and-gamepads-to-an-android-phone-or-tablet/|article] that recommended trying an On the Go(OTG) cable that connects to your microusb port. This would allow you to connect a usb micro keyboard and mouse. It is not guaranteed to work, but an alternative that you could try if you do not wish to replace the digitizer.
