-Anwar De Vos this "playing green and pink colour" is usually related to a bad panel. I doubt that this is due to overheating or water damage. Of course you do want to check if this is due to either a connection issues (loose or bad cables) or the source device. Tell us if you pull up a menu, does that look green and /or pink as well. Check all input sources i.e. DVD, HDMI, cable etc. Also, try to reset the TV to factory default settings. This should work for your set:

Check all input sources i.e. DVD, HDMI, cable etc. Definitely try different cables as well since there were issues with HDMI ports etc. as well as remove your cable box if you have one and connect something like a DVD player directly to the TV. Also, try to reset the TV to factory default settings. This should work for your set:
1.Turn on the TV
2.Point the remote at the TV, press and hold the up arrow button.
3.While holding the up arrow on the remote, press the power button on the TV.
4.You will see the word reset on the TV screen and the TV will turn off and back on automatically.
5.Allow the TV to turn on completely and the set up screen will appear.
6. Follow the steps to set up the TV.
There is a chance that this could be caused by a bad T-Con board or a bad mainboard. Post some high res images of your boards as well as what the screen displays. with your question. That way we can see what you see. Use [guide|21499|this guide] for that.
