LG k20 plus screen doesn't always function properly

I recently got an LG k20 plus and due to reasons I'm not aware of water ''droplets'' got into the back panel (where the battery is) and the screen wasn't functioning (glicthing) but after putting it in a bag of rice it seemed to be functioning again until a few weeks later when it started again and it's been working on and off for quite a few months now but evrytime I have the time to take take it to be repaired it seems to want to work again. Any tips?
