''Be safety aware when working inside microwave ovens,'' as the HV capacitor can store >6000V DC for months even if the microwave has been disconnected from the power. ''This amount of voltage can be lethal or at least can cause serious injury'' unless the capacitor has been discharged correctly before attempting any repair
