You may need to check the permissions for your music app, as should the app not have access to the output device (speakers) it will be unable to process the audio. If the speakers are comprised on your device, you can check there condition by using the devices troubleshooter for software issues, and to identify hardware faults. This can be found in the my members app under diagnostic tests.
