As far as I can tell from the very limited knowledge of that portion of the install it looks to be an m.2 drive or NVMe. I dont know if the blade is some sort of custom apple creation, would not be the first time theyve done that, but from the looks of it it is a standard NVMe drive. dont quote me on that but thats what it looked like in the guide I saw.

Hi there. I am planning on doing a HDD to SSD upgrade on one of these 2015 5k retina macs for a customer of mine. I am curious why you are unable to just connect the SSD to the original cable that the HDD was plugged into? in both your guide and the one supplied here they use that special adapter cable, but I am unsure as to why that is needed. I am hoping someone with more knowledge can tell me why. If not I need to let my customer know that there is going to be extra costs for their repair.

I am going to be using the new style controller instead of the original and I am interested to see how it goes. The controller is the one from the bf1 bundle.

Hey everyone. I will be attempting to do a 360 joystick transplant into an Xbox 1 controller that has started to scroll through menus, although it doesn't happen in game. I'll update with the results from that.
