I think it's because you aren't using right adapter that came with the product. You will have to find the charger that came with the phone, then when you find it, mark it with a felt tip and the phone so you will always know you have the right adapter. If you don't find it you should go either to the outlet retailer you purchased the phone from, ask them if they have a spare one, if not you will need to contact Samson and get their help.

I have the same problem so I press the return button which works for me,I do the same for nearly all the screens that get stuck. I am unable to do this to the black screen which is far too quick to turn black I hope this works for you,has anybody got a solution to stop the black screen returning when I am trying to view another app?
