If you have the number blocked or spammed by accident you won't get the calls or messages but u will get voicemails (this sometimes happens when you dont have your phone locked or you slip it in a pocket/purse etc.) If you remove them off blocked or spam list it should work fine. Or go to the network settings on your phone and reset them it worked for my husbands phone today and he had bars but no service on the phone because a network configuration problem. Also one time i wasnt getting service for like 4 days all i had to do was take the sim card out and blow the sim card holder out and clean the sim and my problem was solved...Hope this helps someone if not at least i tried.
