This is my second semester at UMassD, and transferred from a college I graduated from in New Hampshire where I am from. Currently studying English for my undergraduate, but plan on going to law school and becoming a criminal defense attorney. Understanding the amount of technical writing I will have to interpret, and use in my own future life, I figured this class would be a wonderful opportunity for me.

In my personal life, I love to play basketball and have played for most of my life. Along with this sport, I enjoy drawing and painting preferably using an oil medium. I also love going to concerts, hiking, school wide events, and just spending time with friends and family.

In the time I’ve spent learning more about my desired profession, I’ve become very accustomed to the technical language of legal documents and the intensive language involved with litigation. Over the years, I also have grown used to communicating in a similar manner. While being able to speak accordingly, personally, I feel I have strong leadership capabilities that any one could benefit from. One of the most important aspects of group work is working together well with efficiency, and I believe I can help contribute to that essential aspect of this project.
