Thanks for these very detailed information. I was able to fix parts of my tab problems going thru this page. I just have one concern:

What would happen if I don't return the above bracket to its place? Would it cause a problem?

(Actually the guy who was expected to fix my tab has removed that and I didn't notice this until I open the backing because my tab had stopped charging with the USB. Everything seems to be the same except this which has been removed)
