Hello!

My name is Kate Kelley, and I am a Design student at the University of California Davis, emphasizing Graphic and Fashion Design.

I will be honest I don't have tons of professional aspirations. I really hope I can one day work in a position where I can help people improve their lives through any means possible. I don't desire to work for a huge company but rather for smaller businesses.

My Experience in Repair

I don't have a very diverse portfolio of repair work. I am very passionate about fixing the clothing that I own though, as I am a massive believer in fighting fast fashion and I want to be able to have the clothing I own last as long as I want.

Aside from that I also try to be mindful of lengthening the life of my devices and items as much as possible. I have replaced the batteries in my iPhones before as well as replaced the screens of one as well.

Hobbies

My biggest hobbies are drawing and art, sewing, and reading. And then with that, I play rugby and like to run long distances. Below are two photos of me, one was at a Renaissance Faire in the very first thing I ever sewed (a mushroom cape and dress) as well as a photo of me playing rugby for my old team in Santa Barbara.
