Hello Everyone!

My name is Joryian Daughtery, and I am a freshman at the University of North Texas. I am a theatre major; I chose theatre because for a long I struggled picking a career that felt right for me, and I could do passionately. I discovered that acting was what I was long for, and from there knew it was a field I wanted to pursue a future in. My biggest goal as an actor is to grow very versatile with my acting and explore the different artistical creativity I can bring out in each of my characters.

I was recently introduced to iFixit through my technical communications class, I'm not really too familiar with the site yet; but I'm a fast learner, I'm a good communicator, I'm great with technology, a good team worker and I'm always open to constructive criticism. All skills that make me confident in my performance in the iFixit Standard Project.

Hobbies and Obsessions:

To probably best describe me is to say I'm an over-imaginative thinker, so i spend most of my time writing fiction stories heavily influenced by the movies, tv shows and books I read. I'm a huge Marvel and DC fan. Some of my favorite characters from both universes are Scarlet Witch, Thena, Storm and Emma Frost. I'm also very friend oriented, and I love hanging out with my friends. I also enjoy reading; I've notice it helps with my very active imagination and in a way teleports me into the book's world. My favorite book series is Micheal Vey by Richard Paul Evans.

One of my obsessions is running, I try to run at least 3 miles every day I enjoy the adrenaline rush it gives me. Another obsession I have is eating. The amount of food I can consume is pretty surprising! I also enjoy binge watching movie series, this summer I watched all of the extended versions of the 2012 "The Hobbit" movie series.
