Testing the switch and refitting the plug

  • The first picture is the plug, look closely how it locks the switch in. The second picture is how it retains the switch.

  • Check for debris within the switch space. Temporarily relocate the switch and check that it functions correctly, you should see the pins contacting the volume/power ribbon switches. If not you may have another issue.

  • Refit the switch by depressing it on the retaining side and and push the retaining plug back in (making sure it is orientated correctly)

  • Make sure the plug is now located properly within the midframe and that the switch functions correctly.

Probando el interruptor y colocando el tapón

La primera imagen es el tapón, mira detenidamente como bloquea el interruptor. La segunda imagen es de cómo retiene al interruptor.

Busca residuos en el espacio del interruptor. Coloca el interruptor temporalmente y comprueba que funcione correctamente, deberías ver los pines que hacen contacto con los interruptores de cinta del volumen/encendido. Si no, podrías tener otro problema.

Reajusta el interruptor presionándolo en el lado de retención y empuja el tapón a su lugar de nuevo (asegurándote de que esté orientado correctamente)

Asegúrate de que el tapón esté colocado adecuadamente en el marco y que el interruptor funcione correctamente.
