  • As the keyboard comes loose, gently lift the board up so the bottom is exposed

  • The base of the keyboard will be tethered to the device by a piece of silver cable ribbon. Tearing this piece away from the keyboard quickly can damage the device.

  • Use your fingers to gently disconnect the silver cable ribbon from the palm rest.
