I have no brake lights but my tail lights work. I recently had a trailer brake installed in my 2008 Nissan Pathfinder. I don't know if this could be a cause of my problem. Any ideas? We have checked fuses and wires all seem to be good.

Sara Allread, could be a bad brake light switch.
Remove the contact from the switch and apply a small jumper between the pins on your cable. If the stop lights come on you know it’s a bad switch. There are really not a lot of other things in this circuit that would cause it.
