Why is my 2006 Nissan Maxima Acting like this?

so I have a 2006 Nissan Maxima. I just got a new alternator because it wasn’t staying on. I would jump it and the min I took the cables off the car it would $@$* down or it why’ll start and then I can put it in reverse and then once I put it in drive it turns off. I thought it was the alternator and I put the new one In And it is doing the same thing. And also when I put into gear itmakes aloud hard noise
