Device won't charge
The device won't charge anymore. I've tried different cables that work fine with other devices and used to work fine with this. I've tried cleaning the port. I've tried the reset button.

Becky Dale sounds like you have come to the point of having to change the battery. This device is a bit of a bear to work on. You will have to remove the motherboard since the battery is located beneath it. Use this guide Braven BRV-1s Motherboard Replacement to do so. I suggest that you take plenty of pictures a you work on it. It will help you for the reassembly and you can also post pictures with your QUESTION if you get stuck and need further help. Even so it's a chore to work on it, it is definitely the right thing to do. We are here if you need help to get it going again. Repair is War on Entropy.

I can't seem to get the motherboard out (I've taken out the screws and am doing what the motherboard replacement suggests but I don't want to unsolder if I'm not replacing the motherboard). I'm also wondering if the battery is built into the motherboard in this model. Here's a link to a photo: https://photos.app.goo.gl/HjopnBbNsVCPRK....
@Becky Dale it sure looks like its underneath that motherboard. The black and red wire seem to be leading to it. Looks like they used some glue or sealant to keep the board in place as well. You will have to remove the Philips screw to get the top board off. If the cables get tight when you try to move it, you know you will have to desolder those. As for the glue/sealant, keep a heat source handy. Either a good hair dryer, or a heating gun (low settings don't want to melt the case) should soften the glue.
