My Kenmore 200 series washer stopped spinning the clothes out. If I unplug it for over half an hour and then try it again, it works for one load. Then I have to start all over again with each load doing the unplug, rest sequence. This is not a manageable way to clean clothes with teenagers in the house. Help!

Here's the tech sheet for the washer.
Run the diagnostics Automatic test mode as per p.4 in the sheet and check what error codes if any, are being displayed.
Doing this may be the quickest way to finding out what's wrong.

Ok. Will do. Where will this number be ‘displayed?’ This washer has no digital screen.
Look at the Fault/Error Code Display Method chart on p.3 to decipher the lights on the control panel
Ok. I actually ran the diagnostic fault codes. Now will look on the repair sheet to see if I can find a match.
The model number i.e. 110.2233 you posted yesterday was sufficient to find the complete model number, as there are only two, starting with that number sequence, 110.2233510 and 110.2233511.
The tech sheet linked above is applicable for both models.
The serial number is only used if you want to find out when and where the washer was manufactured or if there's a problem with an appliance that has a serial number that lies within a specified range e.g. product recalls sometimes show this if there's a manufacturing defect detected in a certain model series, manufactured during a certain time period etc.. Then they'll list the model number and the serial numbers of the affected machines.
Yours is a bit vague in that it could be either Feb. 1976, Feb. 1986 or Feb. 2016 but it was manufactured in Clyde OH.
Ok. So the full number was hidden. Here is the full model number. I can now look for the part needed. 110.22332510. I was up until 2:30am hassling with this machine.

What is the model number of the washer?
Just verifying that it agitates and rinses OK just doesn't spin, is this correct?

Series 200. I just did a wash. It spun out fine for the first soapy water drain/spin. But for the rinse cycle spin, it gets stuck and the light is on ‘sensing.’ I unplugged it for 30 seconds. Plugged it back in. Then I choose ‘Drain.’ It has previously totally reset with the trick of unplugging it, waiting, then plugging it back in and immediately opening and closing the lid six times before five seconds. But it won’t sustain for the next load.

The model "number" would help especially if parts are required as there are a few different models within the Series 200 range.
The model number is usually printed on the product information label on the inside of the door or in the door jamb
