What is the make and model number of the motherboard?
What version OS is installed in the computer, Win 7, Win 8.1, Win10/11?
Does it only happen when using the one USB port or from all of them, front and back of the computer?
Try uninstalling/reinstalling the USB controllers are check if that resolves the problem.
