My laptop blinking 3 long and 2 short light

A 3:2 blink error code indicates a memory problem in the laptop.

Try reseating (remove/replace) the memory modules and check if that resolves the problem.

Here's the maintenance and service guide for the laptop. Go to p.39 to view the procedure to remove/replace the memory.

Not sure if your model has 2 memory modules or only one, but if the above procedure doesn't resolve the problem and there are two memory modules installed, try starting the laptop with only 1 module and check if that works as it may be a faulty memory module. If no good try the other one.

Note: Always disconnect the battery before removing/replacing the memory modules, as they can be damaged if the battery is still connected and you go to remove/replace them
