If your pictures come out blurry, make sure you're focusing the image before actually taking the picture. Also, if you're moving while taking the picture, it will cause the image to be distorted as well so make sure you and the camera are still when the picture is captured. If neither of these are the case, then it's possible that the lens is just dirty so try cleaning the camera lens (preferably with something that won't scratch it.
