One simple way to fix a frozen laptop is what is called a forced shut-down and then a reboot. What this means in layman's terms is that you must hold the power button (located between the screen and the keyboard on the left hand side of the keyboard) until the computer completely shuts down. This is indicated by the power light in the power button going out. Once this is done the reboot is just as simple as pressing the power button once to start up the computer as you normally would.
First ensure your wireless connectivity is on. In the bottom right of the screen you will see several bars that increase from left to right in size. Click this symbol and then click the toggle for WiFi to ensure it is set to ON. After this click on the desired network name (this will be the name of the WiFi network you are connecting to) fill the information into any prompts that appear. This may include but is not limited to: network name network security type (most common security type is WPA2) network security password After finishing these prompts and if the information input is correct the computer will then connect to the network.
It could be several things causing the same result. You could have one of 3 major issues: 1) Bad charger you may need to order a replacement charger from the company 2) Bad Battery see battery replacement guide (here) 3) Bad charging port which will need to be replaced see replacement guide (here)
