(1) Go to regedit (type regedit into start menu and run as admin) (2) Go to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\TabletTip\1.7 “ (3) Double click on “DisableNewKeyboardExperience “ DWORD key (4) If its set to 1, switch it to 0 ; if it is set to 0 switch it to 1
Mehr erfahrenIt also might be RAM issue… if one sector is bad, it might not be triggered by WinPE as they are very low-RAM demanding, but it can cause issues on normal boot.
Mehr erfahrenI had similar problem, and in my case it was the eject button that got stuck
Mehr erfahrenFor not scanning to file, you are talking about the option to save file to a network location? If so check these few things: (1) Check if you configured your location properly. It should be something like \\computername\sharename (2) Make sure your computer/laptop and printer have same workgroup name. (3) If there is username/password to your profile, add them as well to printer (in network settings) so it can write file to given location. As for “missing black and white” I am not sure what you are referring to? If you are reffering to printer options, I think its “Grayscale” that needs to be selected “on” or checked.
Mehr erfahrenTBH it all smacks of either faulty RAM or faulty connectors. What I would do is memory diagnostic when laptop boots (Memtest X86, GoldMemory etc. - but bootable solution) and see if everything is ok. If RAM module(s?) is 100% ok, there may be something else like: (1) RAM incompatibility or partial incompatibility (can be solved with BIOS update/reset sometimes) (2) Damaged RAM pins or RAM socket pins (if you have multiple, it may be only one of them) (3) Layered dust on connectors or some other gunk (wipe them gently with soft non static fabric and rubbing alcohol) Check for these problems and try fixing, and see if it you get any better clue on what might be an issue.
Mehr erfahrenThats win10 for you. If possible I would recommend downloading latest win10 ISO (on official webiste) and reinstalling the system completely… I had similar problems with Windows10 v1511, and only thing that fixed it was clean system install.
Mehr erfahrenTry putting slight pressure on edges above and below where lines appear (on TV plastic edges, not directly on screen); I had same issues because of some contacts on screen and was doing this for few times and it disappeared by itself.
Mehr erfahrenIt can often be bad battery… try to remove battery and start notebook with charger in, and see what happens. If its not the battery, it can be bad charger, or something with MBO of laptop. Also it can be some bug with OS you are using, so it doesnt hurt to test with some Live/Portable/WinPE OS.
Mehr erfahrenBest, most painless way: 1. Backup all the data to external hard drive 2. Save text list of all the programs you will need 3. Download Win8 (or better win10, basically same but improved in lots of ways) 4. Burn ISO or make bootable USB (with Rufus, there is a tutorial how to do it) 5. Format disk and install fresh Windows 8 6. Restore data you need from eternal HDD 7. Install programs you need This is the best method if you do not want any unnecessary problems in future. Anything other is just asking for trouble.
Mehr erfahrenIf you are formating the cards on PC, are you using FAT32 or exFAT (or NTFS?)? You should format your card to FAT32.
