Hello, my name’s Jenna Whilden (as you can probably tell from above), and I’m a computer engineer from Cal Poly SLO’s class of 2022. While I’m not sure where exactly I’ll go with this major in the future, I enjoy studying both the hardware and software side of computers and I hope to continue working with these elements far into the future.
Outside of my computing classes, I enjoy working on small coding projects and making art / programming mechanics for video games. One of my proudest achievements in game design is a space shooter game ''Recurship'' (pictured on the left) that I built with a team of 3 people during a 48 hour game jam hosted by the Cal Poly Game Design club. Most of my other work is in a stack of half finished python and photoshop projects taking up a folder on my desktop that I tinker with in my spare time.
⠀
Pictured below is a desktop background I made in Inkscape based on a photo of my high school friends.

When it comes to repairing hardware, the extent of my experience is removing the keyboard of a laptop to clean out a spilled drink that was causing the keys to stick. I have more experience debugging software, like fixing computers that wont connect to the internet or refuse to boot up.
