I just pulled mine out of drydock, as I haven’t used it for years, and it was screeching so loud that people left the kitchen. After about 15 minutes it did get a little bit quieter. Has anyone else had this issue? Will greasing it help this? Will KitchenAid replace mine? Any ideas?

so if I read correctly above, buying a new one won’t remedy this, correct?
