I think I may have the same sort of issue. I think in my case it's the timer/ switch simply having worn out its internal gears. I have to advance the cycle by hand. A replacement is on order. Fingers crossed. Good luck!
Mehr erfahrenAll the cellphones I've used require a battery to function.
Mehr erfahrenVery first thing I'd try is checking the ram modules. When one or both go bad or aren't fully seated, weird things can happen. It won't cost anything but a little time to remove them one at a time and swap them out, carefully making sure they are fully connected. May not work, but at least you will have eliminated a potential culprit. Good luck!

Mehr erfahrenOne additional thought: I bought a Macbook not recognizing its ssd. I replaced the cable from the logic board to the ssd and it recognized the ssd and worked fine after that. Apparently in some models failing ssd cables are a known weakness. Good luck!
Mehr erfahrenHi: I recently bought a used Macbook not detecting its ssd. Even though the cable between the logic board and ssd looked perfectly good, I bought a replacement cable and installed it. Fixed the problem (turns out this is not an infrequent issue). Everything is so miniaturized and easily damaged... What I concluded:If you've had your Macbook open and even if everything looks good, it's still possible you have a bad cable or connection. Careful inspection, cleaning, re-seating and swapping out of a cable (if cheap and easy to do ) might be worth the gamble. One additional thought: Your Macbook's failure to successfully start up is probably not a coincidence. There may be firmware/software issues behind your latest symptoms. Lots to explore there. Good luck!
Mehr erfahrenHi: You might try ebay, searching for a used doorbell being sold 'for parts'. You'll have to shop and communicate with a reputable seller to make sure the part(s) you want are included and undamaged for the exact model you own. Good luck!
Mehr erfahrenWell, I'm no expert, but....if it were me, I would start to look for possibilities to eliminate. Sounds like you are getting no power or insufficient electrical power anywhere. Is that correct? Then the first thing I would do is swap out for a known good battery or a jump pack. Batteries can test as good even if defective (this recently happened to me with a very new battery). A simple and cheap thing to check first. Good luck!
Mehr erfahrenMy first thoughts: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000127927/a-reference-guide-for-latitude-notebook-and-tablet-diagnostic-indicators Have you tried reseating the ram and swapping out modules one at a time? Bad ram is so often the culprit. Removing one module at a time, trying only one module, and then swapping them around after reseating them might fix the issue or at least change your LED indicators. Have you checked all your internal component connections yet (hdd, videocard, modem, CPU, ODD, etc.)? It's remotely possible you might need to replace the cooling paste on your CPU after so many years. If it's cheap and easy, I would replace the BIOS battery just for good measure. Good luck!
Mehr erfahren(Pardon me if my questions and offerings are unhelpful. Not for any lack of goodwill, I assure you.) First, does your old HDD still boot up normally when reinstalled? If not, you have new problems. If so, have you tried installing OSX onto your SSD as an external drive using the internet? If that succeeds, you may then be able to substitute your SSD for the HDD. I have discovered in trying to reinstall OSX on various Macs that with older ones, it is essential to clone only from machines using the version the target Mac uses and not a newer one. The target system will not boot with a newer version. Good luck!
