I am a Freshman at University of North Texas in Denton majoring in Cyber Security. I chose this major because the field is growing and I love the idea of breaking into things in the hopes of making them harder to break into and somehow getting paid to do that.
My dream career has always been voice acting, but I think a lot of people focus too much on having "the one thing." I believe that you can be anything and everything you hope to be if you play your cards right.
I can't think of too many skills presently that really sell me as a hot shot to anyone, but my hand-eye coordination and ability to improvise are the best traits I've developed.
I was a Navy Nuke for about 3 1/2 years before being medically discharged in the pipeline. I worked on reactors as an Electrician's Mate Nuclear. I consider this to be my most prideful accomplishment to date.
My repair experience consists of small household items and occasional van and truck part replacements.
I have two completion certificates for Electrician's Mate Nuclear Field A School and the Advanced Nuclear Power Course from Naval Nuclear Power Training Command.
I'm not in any clubs at the time of writing this but I believe in staying involved in any communities frequent.
I play with Yo-yo's, do parkour, and play online games in my spare-time.
(The Terrarian yo-yo from OneDrop Yo-Yos, my yo-yo of choice made as a crossover for the game Terraria developed by Re-Logic)
(First certificate + band I received from Tempest Free-running Academy, showing my completion of the beginner level course and advancement to the second tier of training offered by the program)
I hope to use my experience with this project to better create instructions for people. I've been in situations before where replacement would cost to much and repair seemed impossible. Gaining any sort of knowledge on how to help people save their dollar or repair valuable items is a good cause by my standards.
I'm a big believer in giving back to communities, and believe that through cooperation is the key to bettering our future. After all if two heads are better than one, imagine what thousands could do.
