Hello everyone, my name is Cristian Farias, and I am currently studying at California State University, Los Angeles with a major in Civil Engineering and Minor in Construction Managment. Ultimately when I graduate I want to specialize in Structural Engineering on projects involving city work. I also hope to achieve my FE and PE certifications down the line as well as my SE and perhaps a master's program down the line as well.

School Involvement: With regards to school involvement I have been active in my participation with Concrete Canoe a club that is based around the planning and making a concrete canoe that is later presented and raced in the annual Pacific South West Symposium against other schools. The club is pretty hands-on and I have been an active member throughout my three years in college with me taking a leadership position this current year as a Jr. Captain.

As far as past experience with fixing and tinkering I have always had a knack for looking into how things work with regard to their intricate components and so that wonder has carried on from when I was little til now. I am relatively familiar with some basic robotics and hand tools as wells.
