Hello! My name is Alex Gomes and I am Information Technology Undergraduate at York University.

I chose IT because I grew up with computers. Always tinkering, troubleshooting, and experimenting with both software and the internals. This grew a love within me for everything technology.

I aspire to work in cybersecurity, but this can change. I am learning both Java and python, while developing my skills at York University in all areas of IT.

As I have never repaired anything, I do have an interest in building computers as well as cars.

Some hobbies I have are content creation, learning Japanese, skateboarding and reading. I also have a pet bird named Rio.
