Dell Inspiron 3542 LCD screen replacement

1. Schritt — Remove the battery

Remove the battery by pushing both clips out.

2. Schritt — Bezel removal

Use Jimmy or another opening tool to remove the screen bezel. Be careful not to damage the bezel.

3. Schritt — Screen removal

Loosen the marked screws.

4. Schritt — Screen removal

Remove the marked screws.

5. Schritt — Screen removal

The screen can now be removed safely. You can put it screen down at your keyboard.

6. Schritt — Cable removal

Remove the sticker holding the cable in place.
