How can I get my display to work again?

My screen came out so I took the phone apart and re-glued the screen with some 1mm 3M tape. Now I reassembled it and it vibrates on boot and I can see the backlight go on because a corner of the screen is broken off… Also WhatsApp Web works. So the phone is definitely working, but the display isnt showing anything (Backlight does work tho)… I re-checked the main screen connector at the bottom and it is properly plugged… what can I do?

The LCD is for sure broken. In order to get a display back, you will need to replace the screen.

Having a screen with frame saves you the hassle of having to re adhere the screen to its frame, so personally I would go with that part.

Note: If you buy the screen with frame, you start putting your phone back together after step 15 in that repair guide, if you buy screen only, you will follow the entire tutorial.
