For some reason the battery on my computer is draining heavily during sleep for some reason. I already tried reinstalling Big Sur but the battery is still draining. I even got a new battery and it’s still draining. Can anybody help me with this?
Running Big Sur latest version clean installed.

Well this battery is 5 1/2 years old! While the cycle count is very low with only 4 cycles, the batteries chemistry doesn’t last indefinitely! I’m suspecting this system is always on the charger so it doesn’t run through cycles like most other laptops do.
Bottom line its time for a new battery MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Early 2015) Battery and here’s the guide MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Anfang 2015 Akku austauschen

The battery in this laptop was just replaced at a third party but I think they either used old cells or the battery board has a modified firmware that reports back as being manufactured in 2016.

@danj I added some battery wake logs to the post. Do you think this narrows down the problem?
@jimmysofat6864 - The logs look reasonable. I'm still thinking bad battery.
@danj In the logs there seemed to be a lot of wake requests in the middle of the night for no reason though. If you scroll further there was a lot going on.

Can you verify its turning off,
try to see if the fan is spinning near the vents

@beanman56 Yes I can tell the fan has shut off. Actually most of the time the fans aren't even on and only spin up when something intense is going on.
