Hello! My name is Sofia Ellis and I am a sophomore at Grand Valley State University studying Writing and Political Science.

Within GVSU´s campus, I am a consultant at the Fred Meijer Center for Writing and Michigan Authors, a member of the Student Senate Judiciary Committee, and a writer for the Lanthorn, our student-run newspaper. Some of my hobbies include playing the clarinet, painting, and kayaking.

I am also an avid reader and writer with intentions to work as an editor in the future, although I do not know what type of editing I would like to pursue professionally. This project will give me unique experience with technical editing that truly impacts people around the world.
