Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 10 Troubleshooting

The device screen will not function or display an image.

The screen requires power to operate. Charge the device using the included micro-USB and AC power adapter and try restarting the device.

Plug in the device to ensure that it is not a battery and/or power issue. If the screen is still not powering on, use a hard reset by holding the power button until the tablet vibrates.

The battery remains dead even after plugging in to a charger.

Though the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 comes with its own micro-USB AC power adapter and micro-USB cable, try a USB charger rated at 2.0A and a different cable (if you have one) to see if the problem is with the charger or cable.

If after troubleshooting the battery still fails to charge, this is a sign of a faulty battery and it will need to be replaced.

Device camera will not take pictures or function properly.

Check to ensure that your device is in the correct mode via the camera interface.

If the memory card is full, you will need to either purchase a new memory card or delete some existing data to make room for new photos and video data.

Backup your device and perform a hard reset by holding the power button down until the device vibrates. If the camera is still not working it will need to be replaced.

Device will not connect properly to a Wifi access point.

Check device settings to ensure that Wifi is enabled and not in airplane mode.

Check with your router to ensure that your Wifi network is enabled and if possible, ensure that other wifi-enabled devices have access. Try resetting your router and Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 and reconnect.

If the device fails to detect any wifi signal, backup your data and perform a hard reset by holding the power button down until the device vibrates. If the problem persists, replace the wifi module.

Device speakers will not produce sound or function properly.

Check the device volume to ensure that audio is being played at a sufficient volume and that it is not muted.

If the 3.5mm jack is in use, audio from speakers will be disabled by default. Remove any cables connected to the 3.5mm jack."

If any of the speakers are not working, backup your device and perform a hard reset. If the problem persists, replace the speakers.
