The phone will not respond to the power button and the screen is dark.

• The battery is drained or dead. Plug in the phone to a battery supply.

• The battery is inserted incorrectly. See Battery Replacement Guide.

• The battery is malfunctioning or broken. See Battery Replacement Guide.

• The motherboard is malfunctioning or broken. See Motherboard Replacement Guide.

• The phone could have water damage. To check for water damage, see Water Damage Indicator Guide.

• The SIM card is malfunctioning or inserted incorrectly. See SIM Card Replacement Guide.

• The volume settings could be set to silent or set on low. Try adjusting the volume settings.

• The volume button could be malfunctioning or broken. See Volume Button Replacement Guide.

• The phone could have water damage. To check for water damage, see Water Damage Indicator Guide.

There is physical damage to the screen or the images are distorted and hard to identify.

• The screen is broken or malfunctioning. See Screen Replacement Guide.

The phone does not charge when plugged into the power supply.

• The power supply is inserted incorrectly. Remove and reinsert.

• Try using another charger to ensure that the power supply is not faulty.

The keypad sticks or does not function at all.
