Remove the five 8 mm screws using a T5 Torx Screwdriver.

Use a small suction cup to pull open the back case at the two hinge cutouts.

Gently, use the plastic opening tool around the edges of the laptop to pry up the rest of the back panel.

This guide has been very helpful but I have a problem with missing screws 3 have fallen out now. and I see the guide doesn't list any parts so where could I go to find the screws?
Same issue (on a Lenovo ChromeBook Flex 5 82B80006UX). I'm guessing a M2 or M2.5 x 5mm & 8mm. I'm ordering some assorted screws & I'll post if any seem to really hit the size.

Hi. Why do some laptops have some kind of a sheet of paper blocking some part of their bottom vents, leaving a hole only for the fan intake? Is it safe to remove the paper?
