The air fryer will not power on
The device will not turn on when the power button is pressed.
The air fryer is not plugged in
The Ninja Air Fryer has a two-prong power cord that must be plugged into a wall outlet. Ensure that the cord is securely connected to the wall outlet. If the outlet is GFCI protected, make sure that the outlet has not tripped by ensuring that the reset button is pressed down.
Basket is improperly installed
The Ninja Air Fryer has a safety feature that does not allow for the device to be powered on if the tray is not properly placed. To fix this issue, simply remove the basket and place it back into the device ensuring that the basket properly fits.

Timer does not function properly
Timer does not prompt when pressing the time button.
Timer button is broken
Unplug the fryer and let it sit. Replug in and check to see if the timer is working. If not, press and hold the up arrow on the temp to try and restart the timer. Make sure that the timer is working and just not setting, and make sure you are pushing start to start the timer. Also check to see that the basket is in, allowing you to set the timer.

The air fryer controls are unresponsive
Air fryer controls are not working.
Air fryer is on standby
Press the power button to turn the unit back on. The air fryer may be in standby mode if controls are unresponsive.

The air fryer will not heat up when powered on
The device is powered on, but will not heat up to cook.
The air fryer has not had time to preheat
The unit needs time to preheat before reaching the set cook temperature. This might take 3-5 minutes extra to the original set time.
Make sure the device has reached the correct temperature before adding in ingredients.

The air fryer does not cook food
My food didn’t cook.
The basket has not been fully inserted
For consistent browning, make sure ingredients are arranged in an even layer on the bottom of the basket with no overlapping. Shake loose ingredients for even crispiness. Cook time and temperature can be adjusted at any time during cooking. Simply press the up and down TIME or TEMP arrows to adjust the time or temperature.

When I start my air fryer to preheat for 3 minutes it will not heat up at all… any suggestions. It’s not even a year old.

Nja grill does not heat up at all have removed grill plate and reinserted it still not weorkingN

Mine is doing the same now after I wasn't able to choose a setting or change the temp and time. I unplugged it and plugged it back in,and it simply didn't come on at all.
