Ninja Foodi DZ401 Display Is Unresponsive

If the display screen on your Ninja Foodi DZ401 is frozen, completely black, displaying the ‘E’ message, or is black and still beeping, follow this troubleshooting guide.

If the device is plugged in and in use, the display screen will not turn on or is completely black and not beeping. The unit goes into standby mode after 10 minutes of no interaction with the unit.

• Make sure your device is plugged in.
• Make sure your device is turned on and isn’t beeping.
• Press the power button to turn it off and back on.

If the device is still running with a black screen or is beeping with a black screen, the food is not done. One of the two zones may still be cooking while the other is done.

• Let the zone that is active finish cooking.
• Turn the device off and back on.
• Reset timer for both zones to reboot the screen.

If the device has the “E” message on the display screen and will not function properly. The “E” message will be on the display screen if something is broken such as the heating element, power cord, or the fan.
