ZTE Blade will not turn on
You have tried to turn on your phone and nothing is happening
The battery is not charged
Plug your phone into the wall charger or through a USB 2.0 port in your computer.
Battery not installed correctly
Remove the back panel of the ZTE Blade, and make sure that the battery in firmly pressed in place as well as flipped the correct way so that the metal prongs are aligned.
Water damage
Check the white strip with small red x's on the top of the battery. If the x's are blown out and red the phone has water damage. As a last ditch effort you can submerge your phone in uncooked rice for several hours in hopes that it will absorb the water.
Corrupt operating system
If the operating system on your phone has been corrupted, a factory reset can usually solve this problem. Restoring the phone to factory settings will re-install and reload the operating system the following steps can be followed to successfully reset your phone.
1.Press and Hold Home + Volume UP + Power
2. You will see the recovery options
3. Select wipe data / factory reset and select yes
4. Now reboot device
ZTE Blade battery will not charge
The battery of the phone is not charging despite being plugged in
Bad outlet
Try plugging your charger into a different outlet, or flipping the switch to turn the outlet on.
Broken charger
Make sure there are no exposed wires along the charging cord or any other physical damage. Safely clean out the debris the try plugging it in again, if the charger still does not work you will have to replace it.
Drained battery
If your battery will not hold charge after any period of charging you will have to replace it. See ZTE Blade E Battery Replacement Guide
No sound coming from speaker
The phone is on yet no sound is being emitted through the speaker or headphones
Volume
Make sure the volume is turned up by pushing up on the volume button located on the left side of the phone. See ZTE Blade E Volume Button Replacement Guide
Media volume
Make sure the app you're using has sound, if it does you can go into the settings in the app and turn the volume of that specific app up or down.
Headphones
If you are using headphones make sure that the headphones themselves are not broken, if they are not the problem make sure the headphones are properly plugged into the jack.
Headphone jack
Clear the actual headphone jack of all debris and dirt that could be disrupting the connection between the phone and headphones.
Screen is frozen and/or unresponsive
Your phones touchscreen has frozen and/or is not responding to your commands
Touchscreen is dirty
Check to make sure your screen isn't excessively dirty. If it is, clean it with a microfiber cloth.
Screen is broken
If your touchscreen is severely broken, it may need to be replaced. See the ZTE Blade E Front Panel Replacement Guide for this phone.
You're wearing gloves
If you are wearing gloves you could be interfering the the touchscreen sensors.
Restart your phone
You may need to reset your phone. Hold down the power button and click reset. If you are unable to do this, take the battery out, and then reinsert it and turn the phone back on.
Phone is performing slowly
If you're phone is operating very slowly, follow these steps to increase performance
Close all programs and apps
Close out all programs and apps running in the background. If too many are open it may slow performance over time.
General restart
Perform a general restart of your phone by holding down the power button and selecting the restart option.
Full memory
If your phone's memory is full it could be problematic. Delete unnecessary files and apps until there is open space. See ZTE Blade E Memory Card Replacement.
Hardware issue
Hardware issues might be inhibiting your phones performance. Reference the ZTE Motherboard Replacement Guide.
Clear your phones cache and cookies
Open the internet app. Select the button in the lower right corner and then select settings. Select privacy and security, then clear the cache, all cookie data, and your browsing history.
Factory reset
You may need to restore your phone to its default settings.

Hi I'm having so many issues with my brand new "Skinny Ignite A462 mobile phone",as it's been showing this message " Emergency Calls" on the bottom of my screen,now I've just about ready to throw in the Fire !!,as I've tried everything from : re-booting,removing my SIM card to even switching it on & off, & that still doesn't make a diffrence,I've taken it back to where I purchased it from & the person done something to it & then it cleared that message,but then later in the evening,You guest it "The Lovely "EMERGENCY CALLS ", came back on. So I'm so totally darn frustrated with all this. So I'm needing some help or advise.

i have had a missed call and they left a message on my voice mail, I listen to it and deleted it but when I returned to my screen it was still notifying me that I had a voice mail, I cannot remove this message on my screen

I am really disliking this device. I cannot listen to music from Pandora or Amazon Prime without the phone pausing it or shutting me out of it completely. I went to my service provider who called a ZTE technician to help walk us through solving to problem but after all of that, the problem is still not solved. Has anyone else had this issue and what did you do to correct it?

Yes mines barely 3 days old and all images whether it's on FB or photos or any image is awefuly overexposed. Even the images on Google as I speak are over exposed. Either I'm an idiot spending those 3 days trying to troubleshoot this overexposure problem or I've made a big mistake buying this ZTE Blade a6 max. Not a good start to this ZTE mob. I tried a site who can troubleshoot it but not until I hand over $48. The stupid phone only cost me$100 new. I Mays as well buy a new phone if I can't take images of my work or see an image in social media or Google for that matter. So far so bad. I guess you get what you pay for. If I can't fix it, it's a Galaxy mobile but there goes Christmas. Cheers ZTE a broke Christmas on you! Not happy!!

Sounds like these ZTE mobiles are just cheaply made crap. Omg so many different issues. They should not of been put on the market with so many different issues. I can't view an image in my gallery FB even google because the images are that badly exposed. My 3 day old ZTE Blade a6 max is pushing me to loosing the plot. I need my phone's camera for photos for warranties. 3 days all day and half the night and I'm no closer to a solution. Sure I found a mob to troubleshoot it but not untill I give them $48. The phone only cost me $100 so no point. If ZTE made such a troublesome ph they could at least have a troubleshooting site. Don't buy one people. It's a heap of seething stress. I'm not far off skipping it across Port Phillip Bay. It anyone can help me with this annoying issue it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly.

My phone is going on and off, back to were it's says cricket, then the ZTE blade X icon, goes to home screen and starts back over and over again, I pushed the volume key up with the power key. How do I resolve this problem??? Please get back to me.

Hi! I am on my sister's phone at the moment as my phone, a zte blade a110, is slightly smashed and the screen won't operate properly, i.e when I press any letter on the top line of the keyboard, I only get the letter ‘q', so I cannot unlock my phone. I don't want to do a factory reset unless necessary. Please help!

Try putting it on top of your hot water heater for a few days or anywhere similar that's warm but not to hot or humid. It worked for my Samsung. Best of luck Terri.

My Blaze ZTE phone after only the first month my navigation buttons don't work I can't access my camera any longer while my phone is locked I can't get to my flashlight because the pull-down screen is in pulling down I don't get any notifications and when the notifications come in I don't know where the !&&* they are this phone is the biggest piece of s*** phone that I've ever bought ever!!

I have my Blaze ZTE phone one month the navigation Keys no longer work I can't access my camera any longer it's not showing on the lock screen my pull-down menu no longer pulls down so I can no longer get to my flashlight and I hear notifications coming in but it doesn't show me any notifications and I have to search my phone high and low to find out what the !&&* the notification was this phone is the biggest piece of s*** that I have ever purchased and MetroPCS sucks as well

My blade zte max does this very very very annoying thing. It pauses my videos and any audio I'm listening to. It started after my Bluetooth device was acting up. But I feel its more than that. I was told to uninstall a “z camera “ but can't find it, or don't have it. I've done been thru my phone trying to find a solution. Nothing!!! PLEASE HELPPPP BEFORE I BREAK THIS %#*@ THING IN HALF!!!
